The Basics Restocked

Our Basics range is made from a material called TENCEL™ Modal, and comes in black or white intimates, tanks, tees and socks.

The range encapsulates the minimalist, every day style we love, while aligning with our philosophy of ensuring environmentally sustainable and ethical practices.

To produce our Basics, we use TENCEL™ Modal, a high-quality, botanic fibre, made from beechwood trees.

The beechwood propagates naturally, so no irrigation or planting is required to grow them. The organic beechwood matter is broken down into Modal fibres, and knitted into our fabrics, and dyed.

The finished fabrics undergo a bio-wash process using a natural chemical free alternative, ensuring a premium quality fabric resistant to pilling and shrinkage.

Our Austrian supplier, Lenzing, is committed to environmental sustainability, and work with the Forest Stewardship Council®  (FSC®) and Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC™), ensuring the beechwood is sustainably sourced.

Lenzing's innovative production is efficient and closed loop - so 95% of production materials are recovered in the factory- aligning with our ethos.
