At NICO, your voice is at the centre of everything we create. Every piece begins with listening - carefully designing garments that respond to your needs, your feedback, and your lived experience.

This collection is not just ours; it’s a true collaboration with you, for you. Crafted from our much-loved plant-dyed organic cotton and introduced in a palette of soft, grounding neutrals, these new pieces are a natural extension of our bestselling Organic range. 

Staying true to our values, this collection was produced in small batches to avoid overproduction.

Alongside three new colours - Chocolate, Pebble, and Dune - we’re proud to introduce two new styles: our very first Maternity Bra and our long-awaited Period Brief. These are products we’ve been thoughtfully developing over time and shaped by ongoing conversations with our community. We listened closely to your feedback - particularly around fit and comfort - and used those insights to refine key details, including improving our bra straps for better support, durability, and everyday wear.

Each colour tells its own story.

Chocolate is derived from the bark of the velvelam tree - a large, thorny tree with smooth white to yellow-grey bark that becomes richly textured as it matures.

Pebble is created from a blend of velvelam and karungal tree bark. The karungal tree holds deep cultural significance in South India and is traditionally believed to offer spiritual protection, clarity, and success.

Dune is dyed using a combination of annatto seeds, clitoria flowers, and palash flowers. The palash flower is a powerful symbol of energy and celebration, commonly used in herbal remedies and vibrant Holi powders.

During Kimberley's (owner) visit to India in 2025, she worked closely with our expert dye team to develop our newest shades. She also collaborated with our manufacturing partners to carefully refine and elevate not only these new styles, but also our signature Wirefree and Underwire Bras. This collaborative approach and our dedication to people and the planet recently earned us the honour of being named Vogue Australia’s Top Pick for Best Sustainable Underwear Brand of 2025.
