We all know that the perfect fit can make all the difference. Sometimes, however, even the most thoughtfully-designed pieces may need a little extra love to ensure they fit just right for every body type.
Whether it's a minor adjustment or a quick fix for that bra you have loved for years, here at NICO, we have options to help you maintain the longevity and comfort of your favourite bras, briefs, and tees.
How to Guide
- Send an email to orders@nicounderwear.com that includes the desired alteration or repair. Please include your bust and underbust measurements for bras, and hip and waist measurements for briefs, and any photos that you may have (these will help us complete the alteration/repair and get the perfect fit).
- We will send you an email to complete the service fee and return shipping cost. The return shipping cost is $10.
- Send your item/s to our warehouse. We will complete the alteration or repair and send the item/s back within 3-5 business days.
Please make sure all items are thoroughly washed and dry before sending to us for altering/repairing.
If you wish to have the alteration/repair done at purchase so it is sent to you completed and ready to wear, please send us an email at time of purchase.

What is the return policy on altered/repaired items?
Items that have been altered or repaired are considered customised items. As these items are tailored specifically to individual needs and can no longer be re-sold, they are not eligible for return or exchange.
We recommend carefully confirming your size and alteration requirements before proceeding, as all custom alterations are final. If you have any concerns or questions prior to your alteration or repair, please don't hesitate to contact our team at orders@nicounderwear.com.
Who does the alteration?
Every alteration and repair is done by our dedicated staff at our warehouse in Canberra, Australia.
What can be altered?
We can help with bra bands that are too loose, straps that need shortening, and adjustments to briefs or tees. Please note: Bra bands can only be reduced by one size - adjusting beyond that may compromise support and fit. We suggest looking at our sister sizing if you need a much smaller band but same size cup.
What can be repaired?
If you have a bra that you have loved and live in for years, our team can repair bras by re-attaching components like straps and clasps, fixing exposed underwires, replacing worn hardware, and restoring loose stitching - on briefs too.

How do I organise an alteration?
Send an email to the team at orders@nicounderwear.com that includes the relevant service, your measurements, and any photos that will help the team in completing your alteration or repair. From there, the team will email you to complete the service and return shipping payment, and then you can ship the item/s to our warehouse. We will then complete the alteration and send it back to you.
